Guillaume Rocheteau

Guillaume Rocheteau from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland visited the Bernoulli Center on the 20th of November 2006.
Guillaumes research interests include macroeconomics, monetary economics, and labor economics. He has published articles in Econometrica, Journal of Economic Theory, International Economic Review, Journal of Monetary Economics, Review of Economic Studies, and others.
Guillaume presented at the research seminar of the WWZ of the University of Basel.

Christopher Waller

Christopher Waller from the University of Notre Dame visited the Bernoulli Center from 15th – 20th of October 2006 for the second time this year to do research.
His current research interests are the microfoundation of monetary economics. He has published many papers in leading journals such as the American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics and the Journal of Economic Theory.
Ranking
A new ranking by the German newspaper Handelsblatt revealed that the Economics Department of the University of Basel is among the most active departments in German speaking countries in terms of economic research.
